Unfortunately, I have to agree with Peggy Noonan’s editorial in WSJ that was published last Friday. As she was commenting to Rush Limbaugh and his disdain for John McCain and assertion that both McCain or Mike Huckabee are destroying Republicans, she said:

This is absurd. George W. Bush destroyed the Republican Party, by which I mean he sundered it, broke its constituent pieces apart and set them against each other. He did this on spending, the size of government, war, the ability to prosecute war, immigration and other issues…
And this needs saying, because if you don’t know what broke the elephant you can’t put it together again. The party cannot re-find itself if it can’t trace back the moment at which it became lost. It cannot heal an illness whose origin is kept obscure.

The lady is right, so IS Rush. All three are bad for the Republicans (and this country) whether they know it or not. All of them are liberals, all of them are way to interested in making friends with Clintons, then with their conservative basis.

Since Fred Thomson and the other true conservatives bailed out on me, I am going to have to stick to the second tier “conservative” -Mitt Romney. Besides, I also found article about Liz Cheney (the conservative daughter of Dick Cheney) supporting him as well.

Romney said Liz Cheney brings the campaign “years of experience helping to formulate America’s foreign policy and to advance democracy and reform in the Middle East.”

Liz Cheney previously supported former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson, who dropped out of the race last week.

This is good enough for me.
