It just amazes me how Catholic politicians could have been so obtuse about their stand on abortion. Finally, one of them got slapped by his local cardinal – welcome to probably the most embarrassing moment of Rudy Giuliani. According to AP report that I found on NewsMax.com Rudy Giuliani got a phone call (I imagine) from Eminence Cardinal Edward Egan about Rudy’s insistence to disobey an understanding that both of them had prior to Pope Benedict’s visit in US – Rudy was not to take a holly communion [as a "open unrepentant sinner"] . Rudy, probably thought, that there was still “business as usual” in his diocese, but … this could get him excommunicated in a very sudden way. He probably didn’t get the Pope’s “there-is-new-sheriff-in-town” message, about cleaning up the Lord’s house. Rudy thought (again), that “playing politics” with the Cardinal is going to be unnoticed. Well, this could create a very uncomfortable situation for the former presidential hopeful, as Holly Father’s message of Church focusing on quality and not quantity of its flock, was directed not only to the priests, but to other influential members of the Church.
Rudy, my friend, you are it!

I hope that his arrogant “No” to the question by the media about him being uncomfortable with having broken the Church ban on taking Communion by the divorced and remarried, is going other Catholics to re-examine their support on ANY Catholic politician who runs for an office in the future. Same type of arrogance is not reserved to Catholics only, other Christian denominations have their own pro-abortion politicians too.

I hope my bishop has the same type of response to another alleged Catholic – Nancy Pelosi.

It’s got to be my lucky month – I got to watch to one of my few favorite man of this world: Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. This man does not give interviews, and this one was a real treat (I’ve enjoyed it as much, as I did the one with his colleague Justice Clarance Thomas). The guy was interviewed my an old “60 Minutes” bimbo – Lasley Stahl. It is embarrassing to watch a mature woman, who is trying to make a hit piece on a man that she despises, yet she tries to by “objective”. I was truly amazed how brilliant Antonin Scalia was in dealing with this disingenuous woman:
Here is the first part of the interview:

Part 1 of CBS interview with Justice Scalia

I love the way he finished the segment:

“… Anyway, this is my view, and … it happens to be correct!”

and the second one:

Part 2 of CBS interview with Justice Scalia

Justice Scalia comes across as a confident, yet very humble human being. In this video, when asked (or rather attacked by the self proclaimed jurnalist) about his Catholicism, and a possible influence on his legal opinions, he made a very eye opening remark. He reminded his critics that philosophy of constitutional originality actually prevents him (intellecually at least) to impose prohibition of abortion in USA. Why? Because United States Constititution says NOTHING about the subject. He pointed out that the “other” site (the “evil” pro-life folks) often argues that unborn child is indeed protected by the “equal protection clause”. However, according to him, this would also be the “stretch” as the arguments of the oposing ideology. So … do liberals still want him (or Justice Clarence Thomas) to leave the court? One word of wisdom – watch what you wish for, you may get it!

I hope that CBS does not remove these two clips from their web site.

Justice Scalia more and more ventures into book writing. His latest book is coming out in few days. I can’t wait to read it.

I hate to sound like a broke record, but every time I visit YouTube.com, I get more, and more evidence of lies that Al Gore is trying to spring on the population of this planet. Him, and Jimmy Carter should be locked up in a prison for their stupidity and danger that both of them pose to America’s interest, and …. to themselves.
Here is a brief clip of a very articulate explanation of relationship between temperature and CO2 levels.

Al Gore’s dream (in addition to convince the world about his Internet “invention”) is to become the first president of the New World Government. Demonstrations by the real scientists, who dispute Al Gore’s nonsense, can only stop his kind of madness.
BTW, as I watch the former I-want-to-be-the-next-USA-President , it \is becoming more and more evident to me, that Al Gore did indeed inhale something in his early days.
